Declaration of Compliance REACH

We hereby certify that thermoelectric coolers and assemblies (TECs), thermoelectric generators (TEGs), water blocks (WBAs), cold plates and extender blocks, and heat sinks and fan brackets manufactured by Custom Thermoelectric fully comply with the requirements of European Union Regulation (EC) 1907/2006 concerning the Registration, Evaluation, Authorization and Restriction of Chemicals (REACH) :

  1. Under the structure of the REACH regulation, Custom Thermoelectric is a manufacturer of “ARTICLES” to our EU customers (according to ECHA’s guidance for articles, the electronic components shall be considered as articles). We do not manufacture “substances” or “preparations” or “chemicals”. Our articles do not involve the “intentional release of substances”. Accordingly, we do not require registration for the products we supply.

  2. According to article 33 of REACH: Duty to communicate information on substances in articles. We declare that except Note 4, none of the SVHCs is present in Custom Thermoelectric’s products in quantities totaling in concentration equal to or above 0.1%. This is according to the REACH SVHC list as of Jan. 21, 2025.

  3. According to the requirements of Article 67 of REACH; We declare that none of the substances in the Conditions of restriction is present in Custom Thermoelectric’s products listed above.
