Refund policy
Product Returns
Products may be returned for a refund or store credit within 30 days of shipping date as long as the product has not been used (Unused Product) and is in original packaging. To return an Unused Product, please request an RMA by sending an email request to temodule@customthermoelectric.com. Include the invoice number or online order number and the person's name from the original purchase. To exchange an Unused Product (within 30 days of shipping date) for a different part, submit an RMA request to temodule(at)customthermoelectric.com. The cost of the return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer.
Once we receive the returned Unused Product for exchange, we will ship the replacement. We do not take title to returned Products until the Product arrives at our facility. You will be given credit upon our receipt of the returned Product. Unused Products returned (within 30 days) for a refund will be subject to a 15% restocking fee to cover the costs of evaluating and QC checking the returned Product. Unused Products returned (within 30 days) for a store credit (to be used at a later date) will receive a 100% credit. We reserve the right to reject returns of Products used or damaged by the customer or designated as non-cancellable or non-returnable.
The following are Non-Returnable Products;
- Solder, Solder Wire or Solder Paste
- Any Adhesives or Epoxies
- Thermal greases or Thermal compounds
- Any Custom or Customized Products (RTV silicone sealing is not considered Customized)
- Any Product that has been or appears to be used in any way
- Any Product not in original packaging
- Any Product returned without an RMA
Items sent back to us without first requesting an RMA will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item or are missing items, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. You have 7 days from order receipt to notify us of any damage, defects, wrong items, and missing items. Any items that appear used or mishandled will not be replaced.
Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. The cost of the return shipping is the responsibility of the buyer.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.
